This week brings one of our biggest annual celebrations as the 97th North Texas Fair and Rodeo kicks off with ten days of Western heritage, live music, and family fun. From carnival rides and BBQ cookoffs to headlining concerts and rodeo action, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Plus, discover new spots serving up fresh seafood boils, premium blowouts, and cozy coffee truck vibes across the county. Grab your boots and get ready for a week full of good times!

🎡 Things to Do: North Texas Fair and Rodeo 🎡
The 97th Annual North Texas Fair and Rodeo returns to Denton this week for ten days of Western heritage, family fun, and live entertainment from August 15 through 24. Each night brings Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association sanctioned events followed by headlining country music concerts on the Miller Lite Main Stage, featuring performers like Shane Smith & The Saints, Sawyer Brown, Uncle Kracker, and Ian Munsick. Beyond the rodeo action, families can enjoy carnival rides, livestock shows, food vendors, contests including photography and creative arts competitions, and a BBQ cookoff. Special events include the 21 & Under Rodeo, Bull Blowout competitions, and Celebracion Del Toro, plus daily performances on the Cool Zone Revolver Stage with local and regional artists.
