Arts & Autos returns to downtown Denton with classic cars, live music, and the Chalk Fest competition. Little Elm hosts its Autumn Fest with carnival rides, food trucks, and special performances. Grapevine celebrates its 39th Annual GrapeFest featuring wine tastings and German-themed fun. Plus, Oktoberfest and Trucktoberfest! It’s a busy weekend filled with great reasons to get out and enjoy everything Denton County has to offer.

🎪 Festival Fever Hits Denton County This Weekend
This weekend brings an incredible lineup of festivals across Denton County and the surrounding area. Arts and Autos returns to downtown Denton on Saturday with classic cars, live music, and the beloved Chalk Fest competition. Meanwhile, Little Elm's Autumn Fest runs through Sunday with carnival rides, food trucks, and special performances by MINIKISS and the Tejano Queen Forever Band. The 39th Annual GrapeFest is happening in Grapevine with four days of wine tastings, live music, and German-themed activities.
For those seeking more festival fun, Denton County Brewing Company hosts their annual Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday with traditional German food, contests, and seasonal brews. The Colony location of Truck Yard is throwing their Trucktoberfest events with stein hoisting competitions, wiener dog races, and live German music. With so many options from wine and classic cars to carnival rides and craft beer, this weekend offers something special for everyone looking to celebrate the season.

🏢 Argyle Market Place Development Approved: Argyle’s development district green lit funding for a new retail and restaurant complex on Hwy 377, preserving the historic train depot by moving it nearby. Local favorite Argyle Party & Gifts will relocate down the road with support to reopen by December.
🦟 Highland Village Mosquito Spraying: Following a positive West Nile trap, Highland Village will spray mosquitoes in the Castlewood area this weekend. Residents are encouraged to eliminate standing water and use repellent to stay protected.
